This flowering crab is distinguished by its deeply cut glossy leaves and fine texture. White flowers in spring are followed by tiny 1/4″, golden-yellow fruit. Vase shaped upright form with good fall color. Rarely to never fed on by Japanese beetles. J. Frank Schmidt Nursery introduction.Golden Raindrops is most well-known for its unique, cut foliage. Crisp, white flowers are followed by golden, yellow fruits. Japanese Beetles do not seem to care for this tree. It also has excellent resistance to scab, rust and mildew.
